Beer Bong

A beer bong is the name commonly given to a device used to drink large amounts of alcohol in relatively small amounts of time (aka funneling). A beer bong usually consists of a hose about 2 feet long, with a funnel on top, and a 3/4 inch ball tap on the bottom.

In other words, this wouldn't be used with any of the beer I normally drink...I just don't think a beer bong of IPA or Stout would be very enjoyable tongue

I think I'll leave the beer bonging in the distant past of my college days.  If I were going to to a bong though for the sole purpose of getting hammered, I would probably go with the cheapest commercial beer I could buy.  You don't have time to even think about tasting it.  I sure wouldn't chug a good homebrew that fast.

One of the last times I remember doing a beer bong, I was in my college dorm room with a bunch of my buds, (about 20 years ago).  We filled the bong...I placed the tube to my mouth,,,eagerly anticipated.  Drunken giggles pierced the air.  I looked up as a very clumsy friend of mine raised the funnel.  The doofus spilled the whole thing right in my face.  Long story short, don't risk beer-bonging your best homebrew.

I agree, gents. I don't have any personal experience with beer bongs.

I used to play in a band years ago, and I do remember guys drinking yards of ale in one particular bar though.
