Cheap wine

Has anyone here ever had Alexander Keith's IPA from Canada? I took a trip with some friends in the southern part of Ontario for a week a few years back and while doing some partying I bought Alexander Keith's IPA because it was really quite cheap compared to the American swill they were purchasing for the higher alcohol content in Canada. The beer was excellent, and it’s not distributed in the US. Anyone ever see in the border areas? Very good beer at a low cost in Canada. Wish I could get some... might have to pull some strings to get some too now that I think about it.

I'm familiar with it and I agree it's a fine beer. Actually, I'm in Canada and Alexander Keith's is on tap in my favourite bar. It's widely advertised and available here.

They used to run TV ads featuring a guy in a kilt drinking Keith's and screaming in an east coast accent at other bar patrons who weren't giving the brew the respect it deserved. I found the ads very amusing.

The ads were pulled when news broke that the actor in them had been arrested for possession of child porn images. Keith's went back to their previous more traditional TV spots.

Anyway, good call and good luck getting some!
