Dried Elderberries, conversion
Hey Guys,
Conversions were never a strong suit for me....so please can someone please tell me how many teaspoons/tablespoons I would need for 4-5 ounces of elderberries....
I've sorted the rest of the recipe but that isn't coming to light for me!!!
Regards!!
justin
Hey justin,
1 teaspoon is equal to .166666667 FLUID ounces. But fluid ounces are different from ounces. Fluid ounces are a measurement of volume, while ounces are a measurement of weight. I recommend buying some kind of a scale to measure out your berries. Being that your measuring in ounces, I would get a decent one. I have an el cheapo that I use that goes up to 5 lbs and each small mark is equal to 2 ounces. Not accurate for measuring ounces but being that I use whole berries, I get the lbs of my berries pretty close and hasn't failed me yet.
Enjoy!!
