Get rid of Air Bubbles In Wine
Hi Everyone!
I racked my strawberry wine the other day and today went into my basement to check on it. The racking was planning to be the last racking before bottling. It has done great to this point but now I am not sure what to do as I'm relatively still new at winemaking.
Today I noticed very small, tiny bubbles, what appear to be air bubbles, all down the sides of the glass jug, on the inside with the wine. It's been under airlock all the time except for primary fermentation and when racking. All the sediment seems to be gone and it is clearing nicely, and now I've noticed these air bubbles. When I rack, I let the wine run down the side of the glass so it don’t splash or pick up unnecessary air. All my previous batches have never done this, so I'm not sure what to do.
Do I need to rack the wine again to get rid of the air bubbles, or will it be fine? I'd surely hate to see this strawberry poured out!
Regards!
