how to make maple wine from sap

Hi all looking for a maple wine made from sap. Anyone got any help?

www.brewingkb.com/mead/vanilla-maple-mead-2094.html

This is a link to another thread on this site about more or less the same thing.

I don't really know much about wine making, or working with maple sap.  I would venture to guess that you would need to add sugar to it though, because I don't think that sap is that fermentable on it's own.

I don't think fermented maple sap will have any flavor remotely like maple syrup.

yeah, maple sap is only like 1.008 or 1.010 I think.  Wines should start higher than that.

Thanks everyone found one at http://scorpius.spaceports.com/~goodwine/maplewine.htm
