Simple and Easy Wine Recipe
Hey All,
Does anyone have a simple and easy recipe to make wine. I remember my uncle (now deceased) used to make it from grape juice. I think he let it set for a while but I don't remember the specifics. I thought it might be fun to try if it's not too difficult.

My great aunt used to make a few bottles of wine using grape juice each Christmas. I remember it being sweet like a port and quite good. Let me see if I can get a hold of the recipe.

William, I hunted and searched and finally found the recipe for you. Grape Wine. 5 cups sugar. 1/2 gallon warm water. Place ingredients in a plastic gallon jug and shake to dissolve. Add a 12 ounce can of grape juice concentrate. Dissolve 1 tablespoon yeast in warm water and add it to the liquid. Place a balloon on the opening of the jug. Then let it sit for 3 weeks. As I said it is rather sweet, kind of like a port, but very good. Give me you feedback and Good Luck and happy drinking.

Thank you very much for submitting this recipe, you are not going to believe this but I have been looking for this balloon wine recipe. I guess you can use something else besides the grape juice concentrate in it? I'd like to try something with cranberry. I'm going to give this a try. Many thanks!
Ronald, its' a good recipe. Thanks for posting it. I guess it taste good. I'll give a try to that wine recipe in preparation for Christmas Celebration.
