ThGeneral Question about Wine Kitsanks,
I have a few questions about wine kits. I have heard not all wine kit companies make good products. Which wine kits or kit companies would you recommend I use? Is the price of the kit necessarily the best indication that the kit will produce a good wine (considering nothing bad happens during fermentation or ageing)? When is the best time to purchase wine kits (i.e. when can I purchase a kit that has been on the shelf for the shortest amount of time?) What should I look for when deciding on a kit to buy? Thanks for any help you can provide.
Thanks
David
I just finished my 5th wine kit and have found that the more expensive they are, the better. My problem is that I tend to want to tast them right away and have found out that they really do need a shelf life to make them better tasting.
I am now looking for a really good "grapey" wine kit... something like a Concord.
Any suggestions?
As for buying good wine kits, I have relied on my friendly guy who owns this web site here in Elkhart Indiana. His store is really fun and I find him very helpful!
Thanks
Desmond
