wine making resources
I was just wondering if anybody had any good online resources for wine making. I've been looking around, but I haven't been able to find alot. I can't find any fourms or much info at all, except on-line suppliers of equiptment. I've found a lot on beer brewing, there seem to be web-sites that answer every question as well as walkthroughs of all of the brewing steps. Wine seems to be another thing all together. Also I was wondering about suggested reading, ie books.
It seems that very few wine makers are on the internet. Thats probably not true but like you I have a hard time finding much on the web. As far as books go I can suggest a few:
The Art of Making Wine by Stanley F. Anderson
Progressive Winemaking by Peter Duncan & Bryan Action
The Complete Handbook of Winemaking by The American Wine Society
and a fairly novel old school one:
Successful Wine Making at Home by H.E. Bravery
