A Wine or A Beer for Christmas...

In my family we used to celebrate Christmas with a wine. What about you guys, how do you celebrate your christmas in terms of drinks?  Is it a Christmas with wine or Beer.

Always beer now. There's some wine kicking around now and then, but the brew usually dominates.

Wine kicking? I am not familiar into that event....

Brew for Christmas here, I'll be giving it as a gift this year as well.

Marv.

The regualar beer drinkers (myself excluded) will drink beer, but the usual non-drinkers will do wine and I join in with the wine drinkers for T-day and Xmas.  This year may be different because I'll have my home brew.  Usually the only beer is BMC and I like to have something good to drink to have with all the good food.  This year there will actually be good beer (hopefully it turns out good) so I can drink that.

Without a doubt, I'll be drinking wine.  I love wine just as much as a good beer.  Then again, who says that you can't have both at some point during the day?

We are a brew family for sure.  Every year is different.  Though, there is usually a pretty nice barleywine sitting around somewhere. big_smile

I usually manage to get both in.  Beer before dinner and wine with dinner.  The best of both worlds.

Good idea Marv, brew your own for a gift giving.  Don't tried it yet nor giving wine gift.  I'll do it this year to make a change.

Don't tried it yet neither giving wine gift.

Slow down on the wine before posting.

We have done beer for the past couple years now, much to almost everyone's delight.  There is always a bottle of two of white wine available as well, but we have gotten some craft brew from Town Hall Brewery in Minneapolis.  The past couple years, I have brought a bottle of store-bought mead as well.

There will be a day when I will be bringing my own beer to Christmas or Thanksgiving, but that year is not this one tongue

Possibly a fine mead for next year though...

I already prepared 5 bottles of white wine for Christmas. I guess it's too early for me to have those drinks. My Christmas is not complete without having bottles of wine. Cheers!
